Praktis Solutions are currently carrying out a number of workshops in conjunction with the users and managers at Reed Business Information (RBI). The workshops are to capture their current business processes and Oracle Financials setup to produce a business plan and roadmap for an upgrade to the latest release of Oracle eBusiness Suite 11i.

RBI has in place the following Oracle Financial modules:-

• Oracle Receivables
• Oracle General Ledger

Praktis Solutions provided expert Oracle consultants to support the Clifford Chance team in working with CapGemini, their selected implementation partner. Praktis Solutions provided consultants to build up the internal process team, provide Oracle training and support the Oracle e-business testing phase.

The Praktis Solutions methodology was employed at Kent County Council while working with Capita as their implementation partner to model the Council’s Financial, HR and Payroll business processes with the functionality offered in Oracle’s e-business suite.

Telia is a large telecommunications company based in Sweden. Telia are currently executing the largest Oracle 11i implementation in Europe. The core modules in implementation are Financials and CRM. Praktis Solutions are working with Telia to build their support organisation and to define the transition management. The purpose of this exercise is to ensure that in the production environment, Telia have a support organisation, infrastructure, processes and expertise to support and maintain the smooth running of their production systems as well as a smooth switch over from their legacy applications.
